Aprilia Confirms Jorge Martin's Forearm Injury and Treatment Plan After Phillip Island Crash
Jorge Martin suffered a single non-displaced radius fracture and will continue treatment abroad, keeping hopes alive for a swift MotoGP return.
According to Crash.net, Aprilia has provided an update on Jorge Martin's condition following his high-speed crash during the Phillip Island MotoGP Sprint. Initial concerns about multiple fractures have been clarified after further scans.
The team confirmed that Martin sustained only a non-displaced fracture of the distal radius in his right forearm, with no fracture found in the ulna as previously suspected. This means the bone alignment remains intact.
Martin has chosen not to return to Spain for treatment and will instead undergo necessary care locally over the coming days. This decision indicates he may be aiming for an earlier comeback to competition.
