According to Motorsport.com - Formula 1 - Stories, Charles Leclerc delivered an impressive performance at the Mexico Grand Prix by leading both the first and second practice sessions on Friday. He improved his time from 1m18.128s in FP1 to 1m17.827s in FP2 at the Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez circuit.

Leclerc's FP2 time was enough to edge out McLaren's Lando Norris, who secured second place in the session. Meanwhile, Mercedes drivers were also competitive but could not surpass Leclerc's pace.

The session was notable for the retirement of Lewis Hamilton, Leclerc's Ferrari teammate, which impacted Ferrari's overall running on Friday.
