Joshua Van Criticizes Sean Strickland's Public UFC Pay Dispute with Dana White
UFC flyweight champion Joshua Van suggests Sean Strickland should have handled his contract concerns privately rather than airing grievances publicly.
According to MMA Fighting, Joshua Van, the UFC flyweight champion, weighed in on the ongoing public feud between middleweight champion Sean Strickland and UFC president Dana White concerning Strickland's pay and contract situation.
Van expressed that Strickland, who recently signed a new contract and won his title fight against Khamzat Chimaev, should have addressed his desire to renegotiate behind closed doors instead of using social media to voice his frustrations.
According to Van, a private conversation with Dana White could have led to a constructive discussion about Strickland's contract demands, avoiding the public controversy that has since unfolded.
