Milwaukee Brewers and Tampa Bay Rays Set to Clash in 2026 World Series
The Brewers and Rays will meet in the World Series for the first time since 1982 and 2020 respectively, guaranteeing a new champion.
The 2026 MLB World Series is scheduled to begin on Friday, October 23, with the Milwaukee Brewers hosting the Tampa Bay Rays at American Family Field. This marks the Brewers' first World Series appearance since 1982 and the Rays' first since 2020.
The Rays earned their spot by defeating the Cleveland Guardians in the American League Championship Series, highlighted by a pivotal home run from Junior Caminero. Meanwhile, the Brewers swept the Los Angeles Dodgers to claim the National League pennant.
Neither franchise has won a World Series title before, ensuring that the 2026 championship will crown a first-time winner. The series will be broadcast on Fox and Fox Deportes, with games scheduled through October 26 and beyond if necessary.
