According to CBS Sports Headlines, Green Bay Packers wide receiver Christian Watson exited the first half of the Week 8 Thursday Night Football game against the Carolina Panthers due to a chest injury. He was transported to a nearby hospital for precautionary tests but returned to Lambeau Field shortly after halftime.

Watson spent a few minutes in the locker room preparing to reenter the game, wearing additional padding around his ribs. He indicated the injury was on the lower right side of his chest when asked by teammates.

Despite the scare, Watson expressed determination to stay in the game, stating he felt better after catching his breath and was hopeful to continue playing once cleared by medical staff.
