Premier League Sunday Schedule Slimmed to One Match Amid Aston Villa's Champions League Clash
This weekend's Premier League features only one Sunday match, Liverpool vs Arsenal, due to Aston Villa's Champions League involvement.
According to BBC Sport, Unlike typical Premier League weekends, this Sunday will have just one match kickoff at 16:30 GMT, featuring Liverpool against Arsenal. This is a notable departure from the usual presence of at least one 14:00 GMT Sunday fixture.
The absence of an early Sunday game is linked to Aston Villa's Champions League commitments. Their scheduled Sunday 14:00 match against Fulham was moved because Villa must play a Champions League match at Barcelona two days prior.
Saturday's schedule is busier than usual, with five matches kicking off at 15:00 GMT, plus additional games at 12:30, 17:30, and 20:00 GMT. The weekend concludes with a Monday evening fixture at 20:00 GMT.
