According to Cricket | The Guardian, TNT Sports is reportedly close to securing the live UK broadcasting rights for England's upcoming white-ball cricket tour of Australia. This deal would bring live coverage of the limited-overs matches to UK viewers.
In addition to TNT Sports' live rights, Channel 5 is in advanced discussions with Cricket Australia to provide a highlights package for the eight-match tour. The terrestrial broadcaster is also exploring the possibility of airing one of the five T20 internationals live free-to-air.
