Lamar Jackson Set to Return for Ravens Against Bills After Ankle Injury
Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson will start Sunday’s game versus the Buffalo Bills following a high ankle sprain that sidelined him for over three games.
According to CBS Sports Headlines, Baltimore Ravens head coach Jesse Minter confirmed that Lamar Jackson will return to the starting lineup this Sunday against the Buffalo Bills. Jackson has been out since Week 4 due to a high ankle sprain sustained late in the first half of a game against the Tennessee Titans.
Jackson has missed the last three-plus games, during which the Ravens have dropped from first to last place in the AFC North. Despite the injury, Jackson described the pain in his ankle as "bearable" and is expected to play through it.
Before his injury, Jackson had a strong start to the season, completing 70 percent of his passes in the first four games. His return is seen as a key factor for the Ravens as they aim to regain momentum in a highly competitive division.
